Copyright laws vary from country to country, but the intention of the law is to protect people's intellectual property.

If you have posted something of yours to Usenet or to some other public place, then you have, by doing that, given permission to all the people who have access to that public place, to look at what you have posted. In order for them to look at it, their computer will make a temporary or permanent copy of the material. In particular, if you have posted to Usenet, then you should understand that Usenet works by thousands of Usenet servers, all copying the posting between each other. By posting to Usenet, you have given permission for that to happen.

If someone else has posted your intellectual property without your permission, then you probably want to do something about that. Obviously, you need to contact the person who posted that property. Also, you probably want to contact the thousands of news servers, to ask them to remove the material from their server. This form is to help you do that with Diana the Valkyrie's servers. To remove it from other ISP's servers, you will need to contact those other ISPs.

Diana the Valkyrie will, when appropriate, remove access to material on the Web site that infringes on copyright. If your work has been used on the Web Site in a manner that infringes copyright, please send a note in accordance with the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act.
