This video is different from APL standard videos. It features a tournament in which the fighters are allowed to use all types of attacks that aren't allowed in normal APL matches: punching, slapping, kicking, kneeing, elbowing, etc. On the other hand, no pins or submission holds are allowed. The rules are simple: each match lasts for 20 minutes during which each fighter tries to hit the opponent as many times as possible and keep her in a full control position (as seen on the pictures below) for as long as possible. A referee counts each attack landed and each full control position obtained, and announces the winner at the end of the 20m match. Some referee's decisions are controversial, and I'm sure that many of you will not agree with them!

Punching is the name of the game!
