There's two main possibilities. One is that you aren't a member, in which case you need to join
If you just want access to the Message Boards, you don't have to join, use the username "non-member" password "sesame". All lower case, leave out the quotation marks.
The second possibility is that you are a member, and something went wrong. Here's the things that I find are most often the problem.

You didn't type in all lower case | Try again |
You forgot your username | Try the password reminder, or email me, identify yourself, I'll email you back |
You forgot your password | Try the password reminder, or email me, identify yourself, I'll email you back |
You're a standard member, and you just tried to access something for Silver members | Remind yourself of the differences. Use my upgrade page |
You're not an Audio member, and you just tried to access the Valkyrie Channel, or the Audio. | Remind yourself of the differences. You can upgrade if you like |
It used to work and now it doesn't | Did the credit card number you gave me expire? Email me. |
Some other problem | Email me. I'm a Valkyrie, I can fix it. |
If you need to contact me to ask me something, I need to work out who you are. If you can't give me a username or password, then give me something else I can search on, something you typed in when you filled in your application, such as your name, your address, the email address you gave then. Also, give me the last six digits of your credit card number, so I can check that.
