I'm actually becoming a very busy girl as of late. I do have an agent (Gino Empry) and he's in the process of having some pro shots of me distributed to various agencies. I was out at a big social event last night and the people went wild when they saw me; when you see me in the flesh, I'm a big girl who's becoming nicely shredded. I've been training 8 years for this chance to compete....and it shows. I think that the concensus last night was basically, ...."you haven't competed yet...and you look like this? Holy shit!!!" I think my show will be quite the event. There's no way I'll be anything but a heavyweight going in. I've been dieting for 6 weeks now (strict!) and I'm still 164 pounds of solid muscle, but the definition is incredible. My legs, arms, abs....rock hard, and the vascularity is very pronounced at this point. I LOVE being a powerful woman, and I'm proud of my committment to bodybuiling. I get stared at all the time; I'm used to it now, and it doesn't bother me at all! For the most part, guys think it's unbelievable that I'm so aggressive and muscular. They love the combination, plus the fact that I don't act like a bigshot or snub anyone who comes to me for advice on dieting and training. I will never be anything but humble and grateful for the ability I've had to become this big. I treasure the people in my life, and thank the one's who've been there for me along the way!
I've got my arms up to 16", and my legs are at 25"; they look massive now due to this diet; funny, because in the early days I hated my legs. Mind you, I wasn't training them properly either- now they match the upper body so symetrically I'm on the money. I have this huge 'V' look when I flex the back up...lots of power in the back.
I train hard; like a man would. I lift heavy and use text book form. This
has prevented injuries and kept me in top shape. My training follows as
such:
Sundays...off
Mondays...chest
Tuesdays..back
Wednesday.shoulders
Thursday..off
Friday....arms
Saturday..legs
My diet is clean and tight. I eat 6 times a day, but the last two meals are only liquid. This will be in the form of protein shakes...if I get really hungry, I cook up egg whites. While the regime is very boring, it serves its purpose. I'm ripping up really nicely, and it shows. I actually look bigger now! YIKES! I think that at my show, I'll look like a total freak when I come out on stage, at a Level One, ripped to shit.....as a heavyweight. I think people will figure I've screwed up and come to the wrong show. Should be a good laugh!
Personality wise, I'm a go-getter. I treat others as I would like to be treated; I don't waste my time on things that aren't relevant to my training, and I stay incredibly focused. I've had this vision of my career to guide me along this journey and it's worked! I've stayed on track and slowly have been reaching my goals. I believe that hard work is the only way to be successful in this life. Nothing comes easy, and if I want something, then "I" am the one responsible for making it happen...no one else controls my destiny but me.
As for the future, I believe the sky's the limit! I want to make a name for myself and be a driving force in the world of powerful women...I believe I can do this and more. I want to prove to myself and others that it was worth the trip...time will tell!
