This national qualifier was held on May 5th, 2001 in Greensboro, NC. The overall and lightweight bodybuilding winner was Melanie Thompson (she's the brunette with the braces and black posing suit). The figure winner was Kathy McMillan (red one piece and long curly hair). The fitness winner was Allison Daughtry the blonde with a dark red one piece on.
It was a good show and an impressive size field and audience. The guest fitness performer was Caroline Nash, a guest presenter was Mary Ellen Doss and the figure field included Rebecca Rosza, Nicole Burkett and Debra Dunn.
